Round One of the Harbor Club Junior Classic

We are off and running at the Harbor Club Junior Classic. Temperatures soared into the mid nineties as the players finished round one. The course is in great shape and made for a challenge for the players.

                We have a tie for the lead in the male 16-19 division. Matthew Young of Atlanta, GA and Max Dupree of Eatonton, GA both fired opening rounds of two under par. Stephen Scarborough of Macon, GA and Rylan Black of Greensboro, GA are tied for third at even par.

                Mason Crowder of Dothan, AL took the early lead in the male 14-15 division with an opening round of even par 72. Jeb McDonald Cartersville, GA, Colby Bennett of Greensboro, GA Aidan Cohl of Cumming, GA and Brock Blais of Valdosta, GA are all close behind at one over par.

                Jackson Harris of Powell, OH leads the male 12-13 division after carding an opening round of two over par. Ves Butler of Athens, GA and Gavin Markey of Watkinsville, GA are tied for second at five over par.

                Aly Francis of Stockbridge, GA takes the early lead in the female 15-19 division with an opening round of one over par. Maggie Jackson of Tallulah Falls, GA holds second at four over par. Mailey Grace Buzzell of Warner Robins, GA and Ebby Somers of Valdosta, GA are tied for third at six over par.

                Avery Robinson of Macon, GA fired eight over par to take the early lead in the female 12-14 division. Georgia Bosart of Greensboro, GA is in second at seventeen over par.
