Hagood and Sansom Win Willow Point Junior Classic

The SJGT wrapped up the Willow Point Junior Classic today. The field of 85 saw some great competition and great scores the past two days. Ethan Hagood from Birmingham, Alabama and Brooke Sansom from Pike Road, Alabama win overall titles.

In the Female 12-19 division, we find Brooke Sansom the overall leader with rounds of 72-75 for a 3 over par finish. Second place belongs to Mikayla Dubnik from Hartselle, Alabama with rounds of 72-77. Coming in third place for the division is Maribeth Peevy from Collierville, TN who fires consistent rounds of 77 for a 10 over par finish.

The Male 12-13 division champion belongs to Shaun Cook from Norcross, Georgia who fires rounds of 71-68 for a 5 under par finish. Wells Williams from West Point, Mississippi shoots a 2 under par in round two to bring his totals to event at 144. Third place belongs to Thomas Fischer from Birmingham, Alabama with rounds of 71-76.

In the Male 14-15 division we needed a playoff to decide the winner. Ryan Eshleman from Vestavia Hills, Alabama wins a one hole playoff to take the division. Eshleman fires the low round of the day with a 65 as his totals equal 3 under par. Second place belongs to Mac Scott from Birmingham, Alabama with rounds of 68-73. Will Patrick from Oneonta, Alabama finds himself on top of a scorecard playoff with rounds of 74-75.

The Male 16-19 division finds Ethan Hagood from Birmingham, Alabama on top with a 5 under par finish. Hagood shoots rounds of 69-70. Second place belongs to Nick Robillard also from Birmingham, Alabama who shoots great rounds of 72-71. Three players tied for third and the winner of the scorecard playoff was Owen Burt from Millbrook, Alabama with rounds of 70-74.
